Traffic Jam

Traffic congestion, inefficient speeds and idling at red lights vex the fuel conscious driver. In addition to the extra money drivers spend at the pump, the extra CO2 emissions due to these traffic problems is colossal. Some of today's top mathematicians and inventors are creating ways to not only reduce a travelers time at a red light, but also to improve all types of transportation. Check out some of their ideas:

Keeping drivers well-informed to help them choose the most efficient routes based on up to the second traffic data. Click here for more info.

Creating more efficient air traffic patterns to reduce airport congestion, reduce the time jets stay in the air and reduce fuel consumption. Click here for more info.
